Schloss Solitude

Yesterday Mr. Müller and I visited Castle Solitude 'Schloss Solitude', we walked in the nearby forest and had our lunch in Bärenschlößchen :)

We left Pharos office about 11 O'clock to the castle, in the beggining there were two Porsche cars waiting for us :D

Porsche cars

This road behind Porsche can takes you from Solitude castle to Ludwigsburg Palace

Well, not for us precisely :P .. but they were in the middle of the road!

Solitude was built in the 18th century as a hunting lodge for Württemberg King...such a waste of efforts haa?
Anyway, this castle represent Rokoko style from that period of time.

Me back there
Next to the castle there are houses 'Kavaliershäuschen' where The Akademie Schloss Solitude is housed. Here can the gifted artists live and work for free.. it's perfect place to get inspired for sure :)

After visiting the Solitude, we tried to see the Deer park 'Rotwildpark', we walked all around the deer park, but unfortunately we could not see anyone :( So we headed for the Bärenschlößchen.

It was small castle for the king to rest after hunting, to have a cup of coffe or maybe beer...what ever! It's a restaurant now.

So in a revenge not seeing any deer, we ate them in the restaurant.. sorry!

We had something Swabian 'Schwäbisch', we ate Spätzle with Rehgulasch (deer meat) and Apple juice. It was absolutely delicious.. Lecker lecker ^_^

Danke schön Ragnar für alle :)
